Jowang Rakhine

Jowang Rakhine is a dynamic young professional and
community leader with a background in Management from the University of Dhaka,
where he is currently pursuing his MBA. With a keen interest in human resource
management, project leadership, and social impact, Jowang brings a unique blend
of academic knowledge, real-world experience, and grassroots activism.
Professionally, he has held multiple roles at Nestor
Living Ltd., rising from Junior Executive to Operations Executive, and
gaining hands-on experience in business operations and marketing. He also
contributed as a marketing intern at Australia-based SAZEP PTY LTD., working on
indigenous language learning apps, and served as an Admin Associate at
ACTIONISTS Foundation, focusing on youth development and mental health.
Jowang’s commitment to leadership and social advocacy is
evident in his roles as Research Coordinator at the Dhaka University
Research Society, Education Secretary of the Bangladesh Rakhine Students
Association, and a Campus Ambassador for Teach for Bangladesh. He has
been actively involved in campaigns promoting women’s safety and indigenous
rights, and has represented Bangladesh in high-profile events like the Bangladesh
Youth Delegation to India (2024) and the Youth Leadership Summit by BYLC.
With fluency in Bengali, English, and Rakhine, and strong
skills in communication, organization, and problem-solving, Jowang is
passionate about driving change through education, policy engagement, and
inclusive leadership.
